This group was formed in response to revelation that our own spirits are vulnerable to spiritual attack from everyday conveniences and distractions that open doors to demons without our knowing. This is called spiritual trafficking. How clever demons are–trafficking our spirits away from God, without us even knowing that we’re being trafficked! One little venial sin can lead to other sins, then worse sins, which then lead to deadly sins. Some have been trafficked away from God for so long that their spirits are calloused, and do not recognize sins in which they are entrenched. God is merciful and always wants all of us to turn back to Him.
Beggars of Christ is a group of faithful Catholics who strive to live a virtuous life, and like the beggars in the bible, we too have been saved by Jesus and want to bring others to Him. What would be better in our lives than to boast the Mercy of God, who has touched us in special ways? He still continues extend giving graces to His children on earth directly, or through His loving Mother Mary, saints and Angels. To tap into this pool of Graces, all we need to do is BEG! As we all know, Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
The Beggars strive to avoid the seven deadly sins. From this striving to live a holy life together, flows the Charity of wanting to help our brothers and sisters overcome human trafficking in the everyday world. Many of us do not even know we are being trafficked by distractions such as the ever pervasive and prevalent pop-ups that lead to shopping, social media, video games, texting, gambling and other distractions away from God; where you start looking at your screen for one perfectly virtuous reason, and before you know it, got led to watch/do something else, which led away from God, stole time from him, might be sinful?
As Beggars of Christ, our mission is to help the whole human person of our brothers and sisters who were created in the image of God, to turn back to Him for protection trafficking of the mind, body, and soul, as they are interconnected. See About the Beggars of Christ for more details.
Mission #1: is to prevent trafficking of the mind and soul which can be achieved by prayer by making the Beggars of Christ’s Seven Signs of the Holy Cross of Christ for protection from evil and praying the Beggars of Christ Deliverance from the Seven Deadly Sins Prayer and other prayers offered up to God’s Glory on this site (please see below).
What constitutes ‘being trafficked’? Our mission is not just to help our poor brothers and sisters in prevention of their physical being trafficked, but their spiritual being as well. Many of us don’t even know that our spirits can be trafficked. Praying in Adoration, we received guidance from the Holy Spirit that our spirits can also be trafficked by our “enemies” without us even know that it ever happened. For example:
- Have you ever been on the computer doing one thing for the Lord and then got led to do something else … might be sinful?
- Have you even been to Mass and being extremely distracted—the mind and soul were somewhere else?
- Do you know anyone who is addicted to drugs, alcohol, pornography, sex, the Internet, computer games, T.V., being a busybody, or a gossip, or other forms of addictions?
- Do you know anyone who is always sad or in despair?
- Do you know anyone who is always busy with this temporal world, not giving a second thought to eternal life after death?
My dear brothers and sisters, if you said ‘yes’ to any of the above, you now know that your soul and mind, or that of another human being was being trafficked at that time!
As Beggars of Christ, our mission will be helping the whole human person of our brothers and sisters who were created in the image of God, to turn back to Him for protection.
Mission #2: is to prevent trafficking of the body. This is addressed by the Fatima Outreach Foundation field mission project, addressing: child brides, sex-trafficking, and organ-trafficking which are prevalent because of the poverty and ignorance of the people who live there. To make matters worse, the government bans discussion of trafficking, not allowing people to speak of any issues; resulting in an isolation of the Spirit, which has further intensified the issue, as there is no a widespread means of explaining trafficking to those who are very innocent, extremely poor, low-literacy, and therefore have no understanding of the situation.
WHAT CAN WE DO TO PROTECT OURSELVES AND OTHERS?
We can pray the following prayers, begging for God’s Divine Mercy before you use the Internet, or step outside, watch T.V. etc.

7 Holy Crosses of Christ Protection Prayer to shield us from evil:
I BEG of you, oh Holy Cross of Christ, protect:
✝️ my mind from thinking evil (as you say this, draw a sign of Holy Cross on your forehead)
✝️ ✝️ my eyes from seeing evil (as you say this, draw a sign of Holy Cross on each eye)
✝️ my Mouth from speaking evil (as you say this, draw a sign of Holy Cross on your lips)
✝️ ✝️ my ears from hearing evil (as you say this, draw a sign of Holy Cross on each ear)
✝️ my heart from all evil (as you say this, draw a sign of Holy Cross over your heart)
After that, seal your body with the big sign of the Cross by invoking the Holy Trinity:
✝ IN THE NAME OF THE FATHER, AND TO THE SON, AND TO THE HOLY SPIRIT, AMEN! ✝
May you always be protected and sealed by the Holy Cross of Christ Jesus!
